RemoteJobsNigeria.ng (the "Platform") is operated by Brain and Structure LTD (CAC Registration: RC 1877139), a company registered in Nigeria with its principal office at No.1 Engineering Close, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

Effective Date: February 2, 2026

1. Introduction

The Platform provides job search, posting, career development, and training services to job seekers and employers. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including all services, features, content, and tools available thereon.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must cease using the Platform immediately.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. User Eligibility and Accounts
  • You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Platform.
  • Users may create accounts as job seekers or employers. You must provide accurate, complete information and keep it updated.
  • Accounts are non-transferable. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials and all activities under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, inaccurate information, or suspicious activity.
4. Description of Services

For Job Seekers: Job listings, search tools, application tracking, notifications, CareerBoost™ (resume optimization, coaching), CV Rewrite (ATS-optimized), Remote Launchpad (training + placement support), blog resources, career guidance.

For Employers: Job posting (free trial or premium), applicant tracking, TalentPro™ (candidate database), company profiles, advertising.

General: Live chat support, FAQ, blog, contact features.

Services may be free or paid. We do not guarantee job placements, interviews, or specific outcomes. The Platform is not a recruitment agency. All services are provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued without notice.

5. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  1. Post false, misleading, or harmful content
  2. Harass, discriminate, or spam users
  3. Infringe intellectual property rights
  4. Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access data
  5. Upload viruses or malicious code
  6. Impersonate others
  7. Violate any applicable Nigerian laws

Job seekers must submit accurate applications. Employers must post legitimate jobs and comply with labor laws.

6. Payments and Refunds
  • Premium services require upfront payment (e.g., ₦75,000 for featured postings, ₦89,000 for Remote Launchpad).
  • Fees are generally non-refundable, except in cases of service non-delivery due to our fault (refund request within 14 days).
  • We use secure payment processors but are not liable for third-party payment issues.
  • All fees are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
7. Intellectual Property

The Platform (logos, content, tools) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use content you upload (resumes, job postings) for Platform operations.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

We are not liable for:

  • Errors or omissions in content
  • User interactions or conduct
  • Job application outcomes
  • Indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months (if any).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without cause or notice, for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, but certain obligations (e.g., payment, indemnification) survive.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.

12. Miscellaneous
  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
  • We may assign these Terms; you may not assign them without our prior written consent.
